Welcome To Superior USD!
Home of the Panthers

The Superior Unified School District No. 15 is the proud home of exceptional teaching and learning. Located in Pinal County in southeastern Arizona, Superior’s schools provide a safe and supportive environment where children receive quality, rigorous instruction to prepare them for college and careers.

We hope you will take the time to get to know our district and our community more. Each department and every administrator at Superior USD is dedicated to ensuring students have the materials and resources they need to be truly successful.

A Message from Our Superintendent

Dear Friends of Superior Unified School District,

We have a saying in Superior, “Once a Panther, Always a Panther.” I myself have found this especially to be true. No matter where we go, who we meet, and even who we may become, being a Superior Panther will always be a part of each and every one of us. Panther pride is our connection to one another and is what has always made us unique. Superior has enjoyed many successes over the years and will continue to celebrate even more in the future.

Superior schools is committed to academic excellence, which simply means we need to know the learner and the learning. To achieve this we need to educate all with respect and accept no excuses; build positive relationships that connect our students, parents, and staff; support teachers to continually expand their knowledge and skills to implement the best educational practices; evaluate and monitor our progress as we move forward; and hire the best people. Most importantly, we must celebrate our staff’s and student’s accomplishments from academic to athletic.

Our district’s most essential component for progress will be building partnerships with families. I know the value of honoring parent contributions, sharing decision-making responsibilities, and addressing concerns. I encourage you to volunteer at our schools, participate in multiple school events, and attend SUSD school board meetings. Open communication with your child’s teachers and administrators improves student achievement. We will show greater gains if we work together as a team. Thank you for visiting the Superior Unified School District home page. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Go, Panthers!
