The Copper Helmet
The tradition of the Copper Helmet dates back to 1956 when Los Reyes Club donated it as part of the friendly rivalry between Superior and Ray Schools. The first game of the year determines which school keeps the helmet for that year. Stay tuned to find out who will win the Copper Helmet this year!

We require all student athletes to meet certain eligibility requirements in order to participate in any team here at SJSHS. Please view the policies below, and contact your school counselor if you need help determining eligibility.
Athletics Forms
Athletes must submit the proper paperwork in order to participate in any sport. Please refer to the following documents to ensure you have completed the appropriate forms for participation.
Athletics Registration
All students wanting to participate in athletics will need to complete the athletics registration process using Register My Athlete. Visit the Register My Athlete website to create an account.
